Moksha Yoga Center provides a foundational teacher training for those who want to experience all the elements of yoga and teaching. You will study the theory and practice of yoga, asana, pranayama, and teaching. Experiential learning gives you practical experience in the art and science of yoga in a variety of situations. These situations start in the classroom and expand into your teaching and your life!

  • Saturday Classes at 9am ($12 or use your Class Package)
  • Workshops ($25 or included in Teacher Training fees for students that put a $100 deposit down)

Class #1 – Saturday, May 22

PRACTICE CLASS:  SURYA NAMASKARA  A*B*C

10:30am-12:30pm
WORKSHOP:  HANDS-ON ADJUSTMENTS FOR SUN SALUTES

Learn how to use hands-on adjustments to improve the alignment and flow of Surya Namaskar A & B.  Explore key philosophies behind adjustments to safely guide the body to its most expressive posture in the pose, both physically and energetically.   Using the hands as one of the most direct methods of communication, you will find adjustments are often more expressive than words alone.

Class #2 – Saturday, June 12

PRACTICE:  SHORT & LONG WARRIOR STANCES

10:30am-12:30pm
WORKSHOP:  HANDS-ON ADJUSTMENTS FOR STANDING POSES

Learn how to use hands-on adjustments to improve the alignment and flow of short and long warrior stance poses.  Learn how to adjust poses in a variety of ways to meet the needs of the individual’s unique practice and intention.  And learn key principles behind adjustments to safely guide the body to its most expressive posture in the pose, both physically and energetically.

Class #3 – Saturday, July 24
9-10:30am
PRACTICE: BACKBENDS, FORWARD FOLDS & TWISTS

10:30am-12:30pm
WORKSHOP:  HANDS-ON ADJUSTMENTS FOR SEATED POSES

Experience a mini-workshop class on adjustments for a variety of backbend, forward fold, and twisting poses. When polling students, almost all report they love adjustments.  Learn how to use your hands to communicate in a variety of ways that involve directive, supportive, and guiding manual adjustments in a safe and effective manner.

Class #4 – Saturday, August 7
9-10:30am
PRACTICE:  SUPTA & VIPARITA

10:30am-12:30pm
WORKSHOP:  HANDS-ON ADJUSTMENTS FOR RECLINING & INVERTED POSES

Experience a mini-workshop class on adjustments for a variety of reclining and inverted poses. When polling students, almost all report they love adjustments.
