Namaste welcomed Peoria-area yogis and wellness seekers into our studio in May 2006. Our mission then still remains, focusing on offering a dedicated space for the community to learn, practice, and enjoy many types of Yoga and other wellness activity currently including Tai Ji, Pilates, Poi, and Massage.
It is our desire to enhance your practice and ultimately your life with our calming studio and caring and qualified instructors. Whether you are nicely seasoned or just beginning your journey, we have a variety of classes for all bodies.The benefits of wellness activities are numerous. And they are all yours for the taking, however like everything else in life, you must practice.
‘Practice makes perfect’ is not however a phrase you will find those who are gaining an understanding of what we are doing here saying. The practice is about the practice. It’s about the journey…no competitions, start or finish line. The focus is on the present, enjoyment, acceptance, and inner peace.
Those who are on the journey may say they experience the following post-practice: Mental health: decreased stress level, alleviating depression, clarity, a kinder heart. We currently offer nearly 20 classes a week and massage by appointment. You may schedule a private class or host your own party here for little and big people. And be sure to check our website monthly for our special events as we offer classes to specific groups. And some events are just to have some extra fun while we commune and journey through life together.
